In November 2013, the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Scientists' Club announced the results of the first phase of the 2013 International Scientific Publication Support Program (from August 1st to October 31st). Accordingly, 23 authors received support from the Program, including two staff members from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: Ms. Tran Diep Thanh (Department of External Relations and International Cooperation) and Dr. Tran Van Kham (Department of Scientific Research Management).
The Vietnam National University, Hanoi Scientists Club is expected to award financial support to the authors at the "Café No. 4" program – a regular scientific activity of the Club – on November 29 and 30, 2013.
The Young Scientists Club of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) was established in February 2013 with the mission of: Connecting and creating an environment for young scientists to develop, improve their skills, and exchange experiences; Supporting and providing information for young scientists to interact with businesses and participate in external research projects and orders; Guiding and planning young scientists for key tasks of VNU in each stage of development; Creating a pool of talented, enthusiastic, and creative young staff to participate in solving major problems of VNU.
This support program is for scientists under 45 years old who are registered members of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Scientists Club and have published international scientific papers with Vietnam National University, Hanoi as the address. It is expected that there will be three rounds of review for support in 2013: Round 1 on October 30, 2013; Round 2 on November 30, 2013; and Round 3 on December 30, 2013.
