Some specific contents discussed at the workshop were: cultural diversity and acculturation in the integration period in Vietnam; cultural integration characteristics of religion; the impact of international integration on preserving national cultural identity; cultural acculturation through the media perspective; transformation of traditional culture of Thai people in the mountainous areas of Thanh Hoa province...
The workshop is an opportunity for scientists, policy makers, practitioners in the field of culture and cultural management nationwide to share experiences and understanding of the current state of cultural adaptation in Vietnam. At the same time, many recommendations and solutions were also proposed to promote the positive effects of the cultural adaptation and integration process on the sustainable development of Vietnam.
The workshop is an activity within the framework of the topic KX 03.04/11-15 “The impact of cultural adaptation and integration on the current development of Vietnam” chaired by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities). The topic belongs to the program KX.03-11.15 “Scientific research on cultural and human development and improving the quality of human resources”.
