Victoria University was founded in 1963 in the northeastern part of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Currently, the university has 22,000 full-time students, 16% of whom are international students from 110 different countries, along with over 75,000 preparatory students. The university has 450 humanities and social science faculties with 12,000 undergraduate students and 900 graduate students. Some of the university's humanities and social science disciplines include anthropology, economics, environmental studies, political science, psychology, and sociology. Victoria University has partnerships with 300 international partners from 50 different countries.
