Celebrating October 20 and awarding the contest "Beautiful photos of female union members"

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Principal of the University); Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Vice President of the VNU Trade Union); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice President of the University); Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Chairwoman of the University Trade Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest); MSc. Nguyen Son Minh - Deputy Head of the Jury of the contest; Mr. Vo Xuan Long - Deputy Director of SHP Tay Ha Noi Branch; Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hien (Director of SHP Nguyen Trai Transaction Office); Ms. Vu Thi Thu Thuy (Director of Thuy An Spa and Beauty Ba Dinh, Hanoi). In addition, the ceremony was attended by leaders of units and many female union members.

In the open and friendly atmosphere of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Principal of the School) sent his congratulations to the female union members of the School. The Principal emphasized the special importance of women to the survival and development of the world. To express his admiration for the female union members of the School, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh sent four verses of poetry expressing the great contributions of women in the work of building and creating the world:

“Women, not God, created the world.

While men are engrossed in wars

Women give birth to a new generation

But intelligence far surpasses father".

Right after the celebration, Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - Head of the Organizing Committee summarized the contest "Beautiful photos of USSH female union members". Ms. Oanh said, posting photos on Facebook is not strange, but a photo contest is unprecedented at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The original meaning of the contest is to honor the most beautiful images of female union members of the school on October 20. The contest is for female union members of the school to have the opportunity to share with colleagues inside and outside the school impressive and memorable moments in their professional activities and daily life. Through that, people will know them better.

Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Chairwoman of the School Union, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee) delivered a closing speech of the contest "Beautiful photos of USSH female Union members"

The jury of the contest are all experts in photography, including: Journalist Nguyen Trong Chinh (Secretary of the Vietnam Pictorial Association, Head of the Jury); Master. Phan Van Kien (Department of Photojournalism, Faculty of Journalism and Communication); Master. Nguyen Son Minh - founder and operator of the contest fanpage.

After a period of working with a sense of urgency and responsibility, the Jury has selected the awards for the competition. Based on the practical situation and the enthusiastic response of female union members, in addition to the awards announced according to the rules, the Organizing Committee has added some very surprising and interesting awards.

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh announced and awarded individual prizes to female union members.

According to union members, the “Beautiful photos of female union members” contest was a great success. The contest truly created a playground for union members to see each other, know each other, share and love each other more.

The celebration and award ceremony ended with a play called “I am beautiful, I have the right” by troupe No. 10 – Youth Theater right on the 8th floor of building E. The play touched the hearts of the audience when it brought different perspectives on standard beauty and respect for different beauties. This is the gift that the School wants to send to the female union members.

• Third Prize for the group:Faculty of Journalism and Communication Union.
• Encouragement Prize for the union of faculties:History, Linguistics, Sociology, Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, Psychology, Religious Studies.
• Individual First Prize:Ms. Nguyen Thu Hien - Faculty of Literature Trade Union.
• Second Prize Individual:Ms. Nguyen Hanh Lien - Psychology Faculty Union.
• Third Prize Individual:Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai - Faculty of Philosophy Union.
