Sad news: Associate Professor and People's Teacher Nguyen Quoc Hung has passed away.

Associate Professor, People's Teacher Nguyen Quoc Hung (1936-2017)

Associate Professor Nguyen Quoc Hung - former Acting Head of the History Department, former Deputy Head of the Oriental Studies Department at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, recipient of the 55-year Party membership badge - passed away at 6:00 PM on October 20, 2017, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Hospital, at the age of 82.

The memorial service will be held from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 (corresponding to the 5th day of the 9th lunar month of the Year of the Rooster), at the Ministry of National Defense Funeral Home, 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi.

The memorial service and funeral procession will take place at 8:45 AM on the same day.

The burial will take place at 1:00 PM on the same day at Vinh Hang Cemetery Park, Ba Vi, Hanoi.
