Message from Student Union Leaders

*Comrade Trinh Le Anh - President of the School's Student Association for the terms 2000-2002 and 2002-2004, currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism Studies:

Organizing the Association before the 7th Congress when the country has just welcomed the success of the National Party Congress, there will be many new opportunities and new challenges. In which I emphasize the challenges from the current trend of multiple choices of young people, the dispersion and lack of concentration in an open space on the Internet will reduce the attractiveness of movements if there is no access on the "network front". Therefore, the Student Association movement needs to always be "online" that is my wish and also my expectation for the Student Association in the next term.

* Comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Vice President of the Student Association for the 2002-2004 term, currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Linguistics.

Wishing the 7th Congress of the Student Union a great success. Wishing the Student Union to be increasingly strong, always a reliable address for students to express their thoughts and feelings. Wishing the Student Union to always be a place to gather like-minded people, firmly walking on the "spring road" - passionate about science, burning with desire, loving, full of enthusiasm - contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland of Vietnam. Each student should be a "cell" that creates the strong vitality of the Student Union.

* Comrade Trinh Minh Thai - President of the Student Association for the 2007-2010 term (2007-2008 period), currently Deputy Chief of the Central Office of the Youth Union.

Dear students! In the new term, I wish you to continue to demonstrate your Humanistic identity with the passion and enthusiasm of youth, dedicating yourself to the community and society with the most beautiful and meaningful actions. I wish the 7th Congress to be a Congress of Solidarity, Creativity, Intelligence, and Volunteerism. I wish the Student Association to continue to achieve many achievements worthy of the school's more than 70-year tradition.

* Comrade Vo Bien Thuy - Member of the Student Association Secretariat for the 2004-2007 term, currently working in PR at Kinh Bac Group.

For me, the Association's activities are like a second university. If I had not participated in the Student Association, I would not have been able to enter the world successfully like I am now. I am very grateful for the years I was a part of the Association. Until now, I have never stopped wishing to relive the time I threw myself into the Association like that! I wish the Congress another successful term! I wish all members of the new term always have enough fire to affirm the unassailable position of the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

* Comrade Nguyen Tien Khanh - Vice President of the School's Student Association for the 2007-2010 term (2008-2010 period), currently working as Marketing Manager of Timeout Vietnam.

While life is always moving every day, the lives of students have also changed a lot, I am very happy that our Student Association has caught up with those trends. I wish the Congress a success, wish the future Association officers have enough heart and vision to understand and share with students in all aspects of life. I hope that the Association will always be a reliable address, a wonderful environment for students to live, contribute and grow together during the most beautiful time of their youth. Let's join hands to build a brand of Humanistic youth full of Creativity, Aspiration and Integration.

*Comrade Pham Phuong Thao - Member of the Student Association Secretariat for the 2010-2013 term, currently working at Ta Quang Buu Secondary and High School.

For me, the Student Union is always a very special place. Thanks to the Student Union, I feel like I have had a real student life. I get to live - study - play with my brothers and sisters, friends,... who are always ready to share and help me, I get to burn myself out on stage with everyone, I have unforgettable moments and I have lessons that will accompany me throughout my life. Thank you!

* Comrade Vu Huyen Trang - Member of the Student Union Secretariat for the 2010-2013 term (2011-2013 period), currently working at the Office of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

If the Youth Union is the "big brother" who guides and points out mistakes for the youth union members, the Student Association will always be the "friend" who accompanies the students throughout their years at university. Seeing the success, innovation, creativity and diversity of the Student Association, as a former student and a former Association officer, I feel very proud and hope that in the new term, with new young people, we will contribute to building the Student Association of our school to become stronger and stronger, and will always be the "friend" who accompanies the students.
