The 2016 Taiwan Higher Education Expo is back on a larger scale, the event was successfully held with the participation of 38 top universities in Taiwan.

On March 20, 2016, the Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition was successfully held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. In addition, the exhibition was also held in Hai Phong (March 19, 2016) and Thai Nguyen (March 21, 2016). This event was jointly organized byUniversity of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU, Taiwan Wanzai University of Foreign Studies,Taiwan Education Data Center in Vietnam, Taiwan Education Center in Hanoi,Thai Nguyen University,Hai Phong University and Tourism and Science Services Company Limited (TASS).

The exhibition was a great success with the participation of many distinguished guests: Mr. To Quoc Tuan -Secretary General of Taiwan Affairs Committee, Mr. Thach Thuy Ky -Chief Representative - Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi, Mr. Ta Minh Huy -President of Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Thai Thanh Hoa -Vice Principal of Van Tao University of Foreign Languages, Mr. Diep Kien Duc -President of the Taiwan Business Association in Hanoi,Mr. Tran Uc Nhan- Head of Education Department, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi. In particular, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh -School Principalattended and cut the ribbon with distinguished guests.

During 3 days, the exhibition attracted approximately 4,000 students and interested parents to attend. It is estimated that atHai Phong, 1,000 students attended, coming from Phan Dang Luu High School (300 students), Tran Tat Van High School (200 students), Mac Dinh Chi 1 High School (200 students), Dong Hoa High School (200 students), Mac Dinh Chi 2 High School (200 students). And atHanoi, more than 1,300 students attended, coming from Kim Lien High School (100 students), Nguyen Gia Thieu High School (100 students), Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (150 students), Cao Ba Quat High School (80 students), Ly Thuong Kiet High School (50 students), Tran Hung Dao High School (50 students), Phan Dinh Phung High School (50 students), High School for Foreign Languages ​​(50 students), High School for Natural Sciences (50 students), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Natural Sciences, University of Technology, University of Construction, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications...

During 3 days, the exhibition attracted approximately 4,000 students and their parents to attend.

Within the framework of the exhibition, many interesting and meaningful activities took place at the booths. Students were supported with consulting and information about Taiwan's higher education system, with necessary documents; 100 opportunities to receive scholarships from 50 - 100%; lucky draw with total prize value up to 30 million VND.

The majority of international students in Taiwan often focus on majors in Science, Technology and Engineering (34.88%), Business Administration (29.76%), Humanities and Arts (20.18%). Taiwan's education system is currently ranked 2nd in Asia (training programs in both Chinese and English), but the cost of studying and living is reasonable, so it is chosen by many Vietnamese students and international friends. The 2016 Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition is a valuable opportunity for students to learn and seek study abroad opportunities, and is also an opportunity for universities in Taiwan to promote their brands.
