Organizing the 2018 summer training course for lecturers from universities and colleges in the North.

Attending the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018 summer political training course were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Linh (Vice Chairman in charge of the Central Theoretical Council), Dr. Dao Mai Phuong (Deputy Director of the Department of Political Theory, Central Propaganda Department), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Quang Viet (Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Anh Tuan (Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training), Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities)... More than 500 political theory lecturers from universities, academies, and colleges that train teachers in the northern region (from Ha Tinh province northward).

After three days of work, the trainees listened to presentations from highly qualified political theory lecturers with experience in teaching and training in political theory, such as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Linh (Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thien (former Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics, member of the Prime Minister's economic advisory team), Prof. Dr. Mach Quang Thang (former Director of the Science Management Department, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics), and Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), covering five topics with the following contents:

• The fundamental and core theoretical issues in the Resolution of the 7th Plenum of the Central Committee of the 12th Party Congress.
• Implementing political theory courses for specialized and non-specialized students in accordance with Conclusion 94-KL/TW.
• Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in building the working style and conduct of leaders, officials, and Party members.
• Special economic zones and the challenges they pose for Vietnam.
• The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the challenges it presents.
• Report on the outstanding international and domestic situation and Vietnam's diplomatic relations in the first six months of 2018.
• After the training course concluded, all participants wrote and submitted their reports on time.
