Receiving the delegation from Ehle Academy (Japan)

On August 28, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) along with representatives from the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Office of Cooperation and Development received a delegation from Ehle Academy led by Ms. Akemi Kida (Director of the Professional Education Department).

During the meeting, Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, emphasizing the university's internationalization strategy and expansion of international relations. The university has signed over 300 cooperation agreements with universities and educational institutions worldwide, including Japanese partners such as the University of Tokyo, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and Osaka University. The Vice-Rector affirmed that Japan has always been an important partner in the university's international cooperation development strategies. Therefore, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities wishes to cooperate with Ehle Academy in areas such as faculty and student exchange; scientific research; and training cooperation.

On behalf of Ehle Academy, Ms. Akemi Kida expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Upcoming on October 20th, at the Melia Hanoi Hotel, Ehle Academy will collaborate with the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations to organize the "Global Business and Talent Meeting" event. The event will be attended by representatives from government agencies, businesses, and Vietnamese universities including the Foreign Trade University, Hanoi University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the University of Foreign Languages ​​- VNU Hanoi, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi. She hopes to see members of the University participate.

Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa highly appreciated the idea from Ehle Academy. The Vice Rector stated that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will promote information about this event to a large number of faculty, staff, and students of the University. At the same time, the University will select approximately 30 outstanding students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Faculty of International Studies to meet and interact with businesses.

Ehle Japanese Language Academy was established in 1967 in Osaka City. With nearly 50 years of history in training and teaching Japanese to foreigners, Ehle Academy has trained over 80,000 graduates; many of whom have gone on to pursue higher education at prestigious universities such as the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Osaka University, Waseda University, Keio University, and others.
