This morning, December 3rd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a scholarship awarding ceremony for the "Golf Tournament for Students Overcoming Difficulties and Excelling in Studies - 2010" - a scholarship program jointly implemented by the Vietnam Education Promotion Fund and the Investment Newspaper.
This morning, December 3rd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a scholarship awarding ceremony for the "Golf Tournament for Students Overcoming Difficulties and Excelling in Studies - 2010" - a scholarship program jointly implemented by the Vietnam Education Promotion Fund and the Investment Newspaper.Sixteen scholarships were awarded to sixteen students who overcame difficulties and achieved outstanding academic and personal development. Each scholarship was worth 1,500,000 VND. Attending the ceremony and presenting the scholarships were journalist Pham Huy Hoan (Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri online newspaper, Director of the Vietnam Scholarship Fund) and journalist Dong Xuan Hoa (Head of the Special Topics Department of Dau Tu newspaper). Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu - Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department, on behalf of the school's leadership, thanked the Vietnam Scholarship Fund and Dau Tu newspaper for awarding scholarships to the students – a significant reward that encourages students to continue striving for excellence in their studies and personal development. Journalist Pham Huy Hoan congratulated and encouraged the scholarship recipients to overcome difficulties and achieve even greater academic success in the coming years. Journalist Pham Huy Hoan stated: The "Golf Award for Students Overcoming Difficulties and Excelling in Studies" scholarship program has been established for five years and has awarded over 4,000 scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies. This is the first year that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been selected by the Fund to award scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties and achieved good academic results.
