Meeting with representative from University of Nottingham (United Kingdom)

On May 4th, 2018, Prof. Dr Pham Quang Minh (USSH's Rector) and representatives of Office for Cooperation and Development, Faculty of International Studies welcomed and worked with Mr. Joshua Hawkins (University of Nottingham, United Kingdom) to discuss about the potential for cooperation in the coming time.

At the meeting, Mr Joshua Hawkins introduced and discussed with USSH's Rector on the "2+2" joint traning program at University of Nottingham offered to students of USSH's Faculty of Political Science and Faculty of International Studies. After completing the first two years at USSH, students will be transferred to other institutions of Nottingham University in the UK, China or Malaysia to complete the program and receive bachelor's degree. Study fees for these 2 years will be reduced from 15-25% depending on the particular institution. 

On behalf of USSH, Prof. Dr Pham Quang Minh highly appreciated the efforts aimed at developing bilateral relations and hoped to promote other academic activities such as organizing conferences, seminars and international internship programs. This cooperation will open up opportunities for USSH's students to access the international academic environment.

Last year, from February 25th to March 5th, 2017, under the framwork of the project "Internationalization of education for better job opportunities: Developing the dual-degree program between University of Nottingham and VNU, Hanoi", Prof. Dr Pham Quang Minh had a work visit to University of Nottingham.
