Meeting with the Vice President of Guangdong Education Association for International Exchange (China)

On March 20th, 2018, Prof. Dr Pham Quang Minh (USSH’s Rector) and representative of the Office for Cooperation and Development welcomed and worked with Prof. Liang Yong Hong (Vice President of Guangdong Education Association for International Exchange – GDEAIE) to discuss potentials for bilateral cooperation.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr Pham Quang Minh spoke highly of the collaboration between USSH and GDEAIE in holding the student exchange program “One belt – One road”. By properly combining lectures with practical field trips, this project helped the youth of the two countries better understand one another and promoted Sino-Vietnam bilateral relations.

On behalf of the Chinese side, Prof. Liang Yong Hong expressed his gratefulness for being enthusiastically welcomed by USSH. He also hoped the two sides would increase exchanging students, lecturers and interns (especially those from Guangdong, China) and cultural intercourses between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, leaders of the two sides agreed to discuss about detailed plans for cooperation as soon as possible.

The Guangdong Education Association for International Exchange was founded in 1985, with the motto of actively promoting educational, scientific and cultural cooperation, and improving mutual understanding and friendship among countries and regions. It currently consists of 127 subordinate universities.
