11. Summary of new results of the thesis:

The thesis is the first scientific work in Vietnam to study Singapore's multicultural policy focusing on three areas: religion, language and education, according to key issues such as theoretical basis and practice of policy formation; content (goals, principles), implementation process of the policy; results and impacts, characteristics and relationship of the policy with the ruling party; giving some suggestions for Vietnam in building cultural policies in the fields of language and education.

12. Practical application:

- As a systematic study of Singapore's multicultural policy in the fields of religion, language and education, the thesis is a reference for the fields of research and teaching in Southeast Asian studies, international studies and cultural studies.

- In the context of ethnic conflicts continuing to spread in many parts of the world, relations between ethnic groups need to be given special attention for peace and stability. The multicultural policy research that Singapore has effectively implemented in its approach to managing a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, and multi-religious society provides useful references for multicultural countries.

- Through systematizing and analyzing Singapore's multicultural policies, pointing out the consistency in the nature and principles of policy implementation (through policy characteristics), the unity in multicultural policy management, and the close connection of the policy with the ideology of the ruling party will help cultural policy makers have more suggestions in building, innovating, and planning Vietnam's cultural policies; have more basis and experience in making guidelines and policies suitable to the country's reality.

- Besides, learning about Singapore's multicultural policy also strengthens the relationship and promotes mutual understanding between Vietnam - Singapore in particular and Vietnam with the Southeast Asian region in general.
