- The thesis has systematized and analyzed the basic contents of K. Popper's philosophical thoughts on science and political and social philosophy, thereby pointing out the starting point in Popper's research and the relationship between these two areas of his thoughts.

- The thesis has pointed out the value and limitations in K. Popper's philosophical thought; critically compared it from the perspective of Marxism-Leninism, found the "rational core" thereby drawing out the theoretical significance for solving practical problems in Vietnam today.
