Summary of Thesis Results: (Summarize the thesis results, emphasizing new results if any) Theoretical Part - After consulting various sources, we have synthesized the theoretical basis of the research topic and developed a system of concepts in which the concept of students' motivation for voluntary blood donation is the guiding concept throughout the thesis. - The theoretical basis of the topic has shown the manifestations of motivation: cognition, behavior, and emotion. These three aspects are not separate but interact with each other, forming a unified whole in human motivation. Through this, we have shown the current level of motivation for voluntary blood donation. Simultaneously, the theoretical basis of the topic also points out the factors influencing the motivation for voluntary blood donation: a sense of responsibility towards oneself, the community, and society; the traditional sentiment of "loving others as oneself"; and education from family, school, and society. Practical aspects: Our research has shown that: - Students perform voluntary blood donation with various motivations, but the motivation for the lives of patients suffering from severe blood shortages is the primary motivation (chosen by the most students). - The motivation for voluntary blood donation is reflected in their awareness: Students recognize that voluntary blood donation plays a very important role for themselves and for society because it is a noble act. However, students' understanding of this is not yet profound, with an average score of only 2.71. - Motivation for blood donation as expressed emotionally: Students experienced emotions during the blood donation process, but these were not profound; their emotions towards blood donation were only at an average level with an average score of 2.8. - Motivation for blood donation as expressed behaviorally: Students engaged in specific behaviors and activities that satisfied their desire to donate blood; however, the percentage of students who regularly performed these behaviors was not high, with an average score of only 2.72. - Interaction between the manifestations of motivation: The three manifestations of motivation: cognition, emotion, and behavior interact with each other, but this interaction is not entirely positive. At the same time, all three aspects of the motivation for donating blood were at an average level; therefore, the motivation for donating blood among students of the University of Labor and Social Affairs in general was only at an average level. - Many factors influence students' motivation for donating blood. However, generally, the educational factors of family, school, and society have had an uneven impact on students' motivation for donating blood, with the impact of school education and mass media being the weakest. This demonstrates the inadequacy of current education in general by families, schools, and society regarding students' blood donation behavior. - The results obtained in the practical research section have helped us prove that our initial hypothesis is completely accurate: The motivations driving students to donate blood are diverse and abundant, with the main motivation (chosen by many students) being the need to save the lives of patients suffering from severe blood shortages. However, the current level of this motivation is only at an average level due to inadequacies in the education provided by families, schools, and society in general. 11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: (Summarize them with stress on the new findings, if any) Theory After researching on many reference sources, we have been summarizing the theoretical system of the topic. Blood-donating definition is the main point of the thesis. The theoretical basis has cleared the dimensions of such action motivation: recognition, act and feeling. These three dimensions always impact each other and go together to become a united of system involving in human act motivation. By the way, the recent level of blood-donating motivation are clearly shown. Besides, the theory base also presents other factors having affecting blood-donating motivation: responsibility for ourselves, population and society; “love myself as love others' – Vietnamese traditional thinking; family, school and society education. Real act: Our research has demonstrated as follow Students normally donate their blood due to quite a few motivations, but patient's life motivation is major (most of them chose this reason) Blood-donating motivation is expressed by recognition. Student recognizes that blood donation plays a very important part in both society and themselves' live. Moreover, it is a nice action. However, this recognition is not sound enough, just deducts equal to 2.71 Blood-donating motivation is shown by feeling. Student is getting happiness by blood donating but the happiness is still small. The student's feeling of the donating action is rated at middle level of 2.8 points. Blood-donating motivation is expressed by action. Student has detailed actions to satisfy each other but the impact is not too much completely positive. Moreover, these three dimensions are rated at average grade, blood-donating motivation of students of University of Labor and Social Affairs is average as a result. There are many factors affecting blood-donating motivation of students. In general, family, school and social education have different impact on the student's motivation. The weakest impact is school education and public media channel. As a result, it shows insufficient exiting in family, school, university and society regarding blood-donating act of student.
