Summary of the results of the thesis: The thesis has pointed out the following issues: The current situation of farmers' access to information on rural agriculture (AR): Regarding the type of information, while information serving agricultural production and agricultural product market information attracts the attention of many farmers, policy information seems to be quite "strange" to this group of people. Regarding information channels, information channels that are not highly appreciated by farmers are television, radio, associations, organizations, word-of-mouth channels such as friends, neighbors, traders, etc. Farmers' access to agricultural and rural information is mainly during off-hours in the morning, noon, or early evening, near the broadcast time of news programs on VTV1 (in the time frame from 5:01 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.). Evaluation of the effectiveness of information channels and types of information: Regarding the effectiveness of agricultural and rural information: farmers highly appreciate the role of agricultural market information and information serving agricultural production (epidemics, weather, new technical methods). Information on agricultural policies has not been highly appreciated by farmers. Regarding the effectiveness of agricultural and rural information channels: Television is still the channel that this group of people considers to be most effective. Other types of information channels such as radio and associations are also highly appreciated by many people. Printed newspapers and online newspapers have not been effective for rural people. Farmers' needs for agricultural information and agricultural information channels: Agricultural market information and agricultural production information are the types of information that most farmers want to access. Meanwhile, agricultural policy information is not really "interesting" to farmers. Regarding farmers' needs for agricultural information channels, most respondents said they "really want" to access agricultural and rural information through television. The number of people who want to access agricultural information through agricultural and fishery extension centers and through associations and organizations is at the same level. In addition, when studying the time to access agricultural information, most farmers said that the most suitable time is during the evening break, ranging from 17:01 to 20:00. From these issues, the thesis has made a number of recommendations to contribute to improving the effectiveness of agricultural and rural information for farmers. 11.
