Summary of the results of the thesis: Nguyen Trong Oanh's novels in the process of innovation in Vietnamese prose after 1975 The thesis has studied four novels by writer Nguyen Trong Oanh including: Con pawn across the river, Dat trang, May cuoi chan troi and Nguoi thang cuoi based on the factors of composition time, choice of topic, theme, innovations in ideological content and art. From there, it points out the contributions of Nguyen Trong Oanh's novels in the process of innovation in Vietnamese prose in the years after 1975. Chapter 1: Vietnamese prose after 1975 and Nguyen Trong Oanh's novels From the conditions of historical, social, political and cultural influences, the thesis has pointed out the innovation movement of literature - novels in the years after 1975 along with innovations in the writer's concept, consciousness and the way of handling the topic. Still the old topics such as war, soldiers, life building socialism but have been expressed by the writer with the perspective of "re-awareness" with a new look. Chapter 2: Innovations of Nguyen Trong Oanh's novels in terms of theme - ideology.
