The detailed description of family rituals such as birth and child-rearing rituals, wedding and funeral rituals, reflects the typical traditional culture of the San Diu people. On that basis, the positive factors and limitations of traditional families are pointed out, contributing to preserving the cultural quintessence of the San Diu family in Vietnam. By analyzing the causes affecting the San Diu family, the thesis has mentioned the changes in culture, society and their ability to receive new knowledge in Ninh Lai today. This change trend tends to be consistent with the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, effectively implementing the Law on Marriage and Family. In the current era of industrialization, the San Diu people have both a way to receive and preserve their own family cultural identity, demonstrating the way people behave in the face of changes in Vietnamese society in today's era. 11. Specifically, this thesis highlights the value of pious financiality and ethnic closed relationships in family and community as well.
