Through many stages of development and change, live television has retained its value and appeal to the public. However, producing this type of program is not easy; it requires organization and seamless coordination because it brings together a large team of people and a more specialized equipment system compared to the production of other television products.

With that concern in mind, through research and surveys, the author has delved into analyzing the organization of live television program production in general and the organization of live television program production at Vinh Long Radio and Television Station in particular. This has led to a clearer understanding of the necessary aspects of a quality live television program, as well as the shortcomings of this type of program at the station. Each section delves into the production process, presenting what the station is actually doing, its strengths and weaknesses, along with specific data and examples to clarify the issues. After each described issue, the author provides a brief assessment to summarize the main points. With a specific evaluation of successes, limitations, and the analysis of the causes of the problems, the author humbly proposes solutions to improve the organization of live television program production at Vinh Long Radio and Television Station in the future. Live television programs are an attractive and indispensable television product for any television news organization. Therefore, understanding, mastering, and effectively implementing this type of program is essential and urgent to help the station produce high-quality, engaging programs that attract viewers. Furthermore, for television staff, it provides an opportunity to improve their skills and teamwork abilities – something many local television stations currently lack.

Live TV program is one of the special press products of the television industry. It is a typical program that reveals the core strength and essence of television. Through many stages of development and changes, up to now, live TV program still retains its value, attracting the audience. However, making this kind of program is not easy, requiring organization and smooth coordination because it brings a larger group of people with special equipment than the production of other television products.

With that concern, the author has deeply analyzed the organization of the production of a live TV program in general and the organization of live TV program production at Vinh Long Radio and Television Station in particular. From there, there is a better understanding of the required aspects of a quality live TV program as well as the disadvantages of this type of program at my station. In each content, the author goes into – depth analysis of the production stages, outlines what is done with the reality program, its strengths and weaknesses, specific data and examples. After each problem is described, the author has a brief evaluation of it. With a specific assessment of the success, limitations and analysis of the causes of the problem, the author suggests solutions to the organization of live TV program production at Vinh Long Radio and Television Station to make it better in the near future. It includes:

Because up to now, live TV programs here have not been professionally made. People in charge of producing have not had the opportunity to see clearly from major TV stations to understand and make professional and effective live TV programs.

Live TV program is an attractive and indispensable product of a TV station, so it is necessary to learn, understand and practice this type of program well. Besides, for the television team, it will be an opportunity to improve skills in coordination, teamwork, something that many local TV stations lack today.
