Attending and sharing the joy with the teachers and students of the school were Prof. Phung Huu Phu, Chairman of the Science and Training Council, the first Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; Prof. Vu Duong Ninh, Honorary President of the Association of Former Teachers; Assoc. Prof. Lam Ba Nam, President of the Association of Former Teachers of the School; former leaders of the school through the periods, representatives of partner units. The ceremony was attended by the entire Board of Directors and a large number of lecturers and staff of the school.

In his welcoming speech, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized: “The 28-year journey of the School of Humanities is built and developed on the foundation of the Tradition of Literature (1945) - The Essence of Synthesis (1956), to create the stature of a Humanities School today: still academic but fully integrated, not academically broken, and not out of place with the contemporary digital university. The 28-year journey is enough to demonstrate Humanistic Intelligence.
Hanoi Humanities is not only Wisdom but also Empathy! We are moved when more and more cadres share that: in Humanities, there is more and more empathy, gentleness and naturalness to the point that we can feel "Humanity is near - Wisdom is easy"!

During the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day this year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities received much good news: many groups and individuals of the University were honored to receive emulation titles and rewards from the Vietnam Education Trade Union and the Director of Hanoi National University.
The Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Faculty of Anthropology and Faculty of Psychology received the Emulation Flag of Hanoi National University
19 groups (faculties, departments, offices, centers) of the University received Certificates of Merit from the Director of VNU
11 lecturers and staff received the title of emulation soldier at VNU level
18 lecturers received Certificates of Merit from the Director of VNU
Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Deputy Head of Personnel Organization Department) was honored with the Commemorative Medal for the career of the State Organization sector.

In her speech at the Commemoration Ceremony, Doan Huong Ly (K65 student majoring in Religious Studies) representing students, trainees, and graduate students expressed her deep gratitude to all the teachers, the silent ferrymen who have always guided, instructed, and accompanied the students throughout their journey of study at the School.

Huong Ly emotionally shared: “At this school, we not only receive in-depth, updated knowledge; modern scientific research methods but also grow in personality and morality.
