It can be said that education and training is a special honor that President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to during his lifetime. Right after the declaration of independence, although there was not a single word that education and training was the top national policy, he actually had thoughts, policies and instructions that were even more than that for education and training. The workshop listened to the speech of Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; the introductory report of Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The workshop listened to quality, dedicated presentations, representing the feelings and intelligence of scientists, teachers, education managers, students on the theme of the workshop.
The articles and opinions presented at the Workshop were all of very high quality, focusing on clarifying:
1) Purpose, content, motto, ideological values, educational philosophy of President Ho Chi Minh
2) Affirming the historical significance and practical value of President Ho Chi Minh's first letter to students and the education sector (September 1945 - September 2025);
3) Affirming the core views and thoughts of President Ho Chi Minh on the spirit of self-study and lifelong learning associated with the research, understanding and implementation of the direction of General Secretary To Lam in the article on Lifelong Learning;
4) Implementing Ho Chi Minh's ideology on education and training: Achievements, lessons learned and issues raised for the education sector over 80 years of formation and development associated with the country's innovation process;
5) Proposing breakthrough solutions in applying and creatively developing the content, ideological values and philosophy of President Ho Chi Minh on education and training associated with continuing to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate education and training in the new era of development of the Vietnamese nation.

Ho Chi Minh believed that education should not only equip knowledge, but also focus on cultivating ethics, personality, emotions, and lifestyle, in order to create people who are both talented and virtuous, in which virtue is the foundation. Education aims to develop people comprehensively, including morality, intelligence, physique, and beauty, possessing all the qualities of humanity, courtesy, righteousness, intelligence, trust, courage, integrity, and uprightness, etc.

President Ho Chi Minh's educational ideology both inherits and distills the quintessence of the nation's traditional cultural and educational traditions, and absorbs the advanced educational ideas of humanity. President Ho Chi Minh emphasized the role of self-study, regular study, lifelong study, study anytime, anywhere, and study for everyone as a way to develop people, so that people can always adapt and meet the requirements of work and the requirements of the times.
From the beginning of the workshop, the keywords we mentioned the most were self-study and lifelong learning. However, President Ho Chi Minh's viewpoint on self-study not only emphasized equipping knowledge, skills, learning many foreign languages, accessing endless knowledge that is taking place, but a very important aspect of self-study of President Ho Chi Minh was developing people and personality. This aspect of self-study must be viewed in the sense of self-education, meaning self-development, self-cultivation, self-regulation, self-shame, self-humiliation, knowing shame and being honest, so that people must change, meeting the requirements of the revolution of the times. In which, President Ho Chi Minh's educational content is both human-centered, puts the nation above all and places it in a hundred-year vision and a human vision. In that educational content, President Ho Chi Minh not only emphasized the people's knowledge, but also the issue of national spirit and spirit. We pay attention to the context of the time before 1945, Mr. Phan Boi Chau called for the need to revive the people's knowledge, improve the people's knowledge, foster the people's spirit and only then can a new Vietnam be created. Thus, there is not only the issue of understanding the people's knowledge but especially the spirit of the nation.
