The course attracted the interest and registration of more than 50 students, lecturers from many universities across the country and business managers in many different fields, demonstrating their love for learning the quintessence of Eastern philosophy and also demonstrating a deeper connection between universities and businesses.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Pham Hoang Giang (Head of the Faculty of Philosophy, VNU-USSH) shared and emphasized the meaning and goals of the course: "Currently, the world is undergoing extremely rapid changes, described through the concepts of BANI - Brittle, Anxious, Non-linear and Incomprehensible. In that context, Vietnam is setting an ambitious goal: building a start-up nation, not only to boost the economy but also to affirm its position in the international arena. To achieve this goal, we need to overcome barriers in thinking, management and enhance adaptability. Eastern philosophy, especially the thoughts of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, with three prominent aspects: harmony (Yin and Yang), "Humanity" thought, impermanence, as well as core values such as harmony, flexibility, and human orientation - become a source of inspiration and effective tools".

Eastern Philosophy on Humans and Life; Religion and Economics; The Essence of Chinese Philosophy on Human Resource Management and Current Applied Values; Taoism – Trang: Inaction and Following Nature; Confucianism: Ethics & The Art of Leadership; Mohism: Critical Thinking and Community Benefits; Humanity, Rule of Law, Management: Dialogue with Ancient CEOs; Buddhism: Mindfulness – from Enlightened Wisdom to the Ability to Accompany Modern Businesses.With the accompaniment of experts and scientists from many prestigious universities and research institutes, students will learn the most quintessential values of Eastern philosophy, as well as apply those values in practical business management, helping businesses to develop quickly and sustainably.

In recent times, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with the core being the Faculty of Philosophy, has been a pioneer in developing training programs and knowledge enrichment courses, not only providing in-depth, academic knowledge but also enhancing the exploitation of the applied value of philosophy to meet the requirements of the new context.
