Congratulations to 05 VNU-USSH scientists honored as Outstanding Scientists in 2024

On May 15, 2025, at the 2025 Science, Technology and Innovation Conference, VNU awarded Certificates of Merit from the President of VNU to nearly 150 scientists with outstanding achievements in scientific research in 2024.

05 scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the President of VNU, including:
1. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Principal
2. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Anh Cuong - Faculty of Political Science
3. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thai Lan - Faculty of Sociology and Social Work
4. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Lam - Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language
5. PhD. Nguyen Ky Nam - Faculty of History

 

Also at the Conference, VNU President Le Quan shared about the strategy for developing excellent science and technology human resources by 2030, in which VNU sets the goal of building a team of 5,000 scientists, including 500 excellent scientists with special treatment regimes. VNU strengthens international cooperation with the world's leading universities to train and attract talents, while improving the working environment to retain scientific staff in the context of increasingly fierce competition.
Director Le Quan expressed VNU's strong commitment to continue promoting the implementation of the Action Program under Resolution 57-NQ/TW, focusing on innovation, effectively connecting the three Houses to promote the transfer of knowledge, scientific and technological products into practice. This is not only the strategic task of VNU but also the responsibility of a pioneering national university, accompanying the country in realizing major goals of scientific development and innovation in the digital age.
Congratulations and best wishes to the teachers and scientists of VNU-USSH to continue to have achievements in training and research, contributing to the development of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and VNU.
