VNU-USSH attracts students and doctoral candidates thanks to its standardized and high-quality training programs.

This is a very encouraging achievement, shared by Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Party Secretary and Rector of the University) at the opening ceremony of the master's and doctoral training programs held on December 16, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The ceremony was held in a solemn yet warm and friendly atmosphere, with the participation of the University's leadership, representatives from functional departments and training units, and a large number of students and doctoral candidates admitted in 2024.

Dr. Hoang Van Quynh (Deputy Head of Training Department) announced the decisions and list of successful candidates for master's and doctoral programs in 2024.

Extending his congratulations to all new postgraduate students and doctoral candidates, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized: In the context of the overall difficulties faced by postgraduate admissions at educational institutions nationwide in recent years, with many majors and schools forced to cease training due to quality issues, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is pleased to see a steady increase in enrollment over the years. Currently, VNU-USSH contributes approximately 30% of the annual postgraduate enrollment target of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This demonstrates the correctness of persistently pursuing the philosophy of using standardization and quality as guiding principles in postgraduate training.
With a spirit of "professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency," the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is committed to always accompanying and providing maximum support to all students and researchers to best complete their studies, receive their Master's and Doctoral degrees on time and with the highest quality. On behalf of the postgraduate students and researchers attending the 2024 Postgraduate Opening Ceremony, PhD candidate Nguyen Thi Viet Anh (Political Science major, currently working at Dong A University) expressed her pride in being one of the successful candidates and officially becoming a PhD candidate at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and expressed her determination to complete her study plan with seriousness, responsibility, and the highest academic quality.

On behalf of the new students, the PhD candidates gave a speech and presented flowers to the representatives of the Board of Directors and faculty members of the University.

Also at the Opening Ceremony, representatives from the Training Department shared with students and doctoral candidates the training schedule and points to note in the latest training regulations of VNU, as well as support policies from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to help students and doctoral candidates understand their responsibilities and maximize their benefits throughout their studies.
