VNU-USSH attracts students and postgraduates thanks to its standards and quality in training.

This is a very commendable achievement shared by Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Party Secretary, Principal of the School) at the Opening Ceremony of Master's and Doctoral Training held on December 16, 2024 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The ceremony was held solemnly but also very warmly and intimately with the participation of the School's leaders, representatives of functional departments, training units and a large number of students and PhD students admitted in 2024.

Dr. Hoang Van Quynh (Deputy Head of Training Department) announced the decisions and list of successful candidates for master's and doctoral training in 2024.

Sending congratulations to all new students and new PhD students, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized: In the general context of postgraduate recruitment of educational institutions nationwide in the past time facing many difficulties; many majors and many schools were forced to stop training because of not ensuring quality, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is pleased that the recruitment work has increased steadily over the years. Currently, VNU-USSH contributes about 30% of the annual postgraduate training enrollment target of VNU. That has proven the correctness in persistently pursuing the philosophy of taking standards and quality as the guiding principle in postgraduate training.
With the spirit of “professionalism, friendliness and efficiency”, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities commits to always accompany and provide maximum support to all students and postgraduates to best complete their learning tasks, receive Master’s and PhD degrees on time and with the highest quality. The success in the learning process at the school as well as in the working field of all students and postgraduates will contribute significantly to continue affirming, cultivating and spreading the reputation and brand of the school.

On behalf of the students and postgraduates attending the 2024 Postgraduate Opening Ceremony, PhD student Nguyen Thi Viet Anh (Majoring in Political Science, currently working at Dong A University) expressed her pride in being one of the successful candidates and officially becoming a PhD student of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and expressed her determination to complete her study plan with seriousness, responsibility and the highest academic quality.

Representing new students, PhD students spoke and presented flowers to representatives of the Board of Directors, staff and lecturers of the School.

Also at the Opening Ceremony, representatives of the Training Department shared with students and postgraduates about the training schedule and points to note in the latest training regulations of VNU, and support policies from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to help students and postgraduates understand their responsibilities and maximize their rights throughout the learning process.
