On October 17, 2012, leaders and specialists of the department attended a training session on building and applying a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008 standards at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The presenter was Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phung - Head of the Department of Archival Science and Office Administration.

On October 15, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - signed the decisions to dismiss staff and the decisions to appoint staff.

Based on the results of study and training in the second semester of the 2011-2012 school year, the school plans to list students of courses QH-2009-X, QH-2010-X, QH-2011-X to receive scholarships and social allowances in the first semester of the 2012-2013 school year. Any questions or concerns (if any) should be reported directly to the school (through the Office of Politics and Student Affairs) before October 25, 2012 for timely consideration and adjustment.

On October 11, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School signed decisions to dissolve a number of centers.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized an auction of liquidated equipment.

The school will return the original documents to students of Course QH-2008-X (K53) immediately after graduation.

Based on the learning and training results of the first semester of the 2010-2011 school year, the School plans to list standard students of the courses: QH-2007-X, QH-2008-X, QH-2009-X, QH-2010-X to receive scholarships and social allowances in the second semester of the 2010-2011 school year.

After 3 working days, on the afternoon of October 3, 2012, the external evaluation team of the University held a summary meeting with the Board of Directors and leaders of the units of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Ha - Head of the external evaluation team.

On September 28, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School signed a decision to appoint MSc. Pham Huy Cuong (specialist of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs) to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs, with a term following the term of the Principal.

On September 24, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities received a delegation of external assessment experts from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities led by Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Ha to conduct a preliminary survey at the University.

Implementing the 2011-2012 school year plan, the School organized the Graduation Ceremony and awarded Bachelor of Science degrees to Course QH-2008-X on August 1, 2012.
