On October 17, 2012, leaders and staff from various departments participated in a training session on building and applying a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008 standards at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The presenter was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Phung - Head of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management.

On October 15, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – the Rector of the University – signed decisions to dismiss and appoint staff members.

Based on the academic and training results of the second semester of the 2011-2012 school year, the school has prepared a list of students from the QH-2009-X, QH-2010-X, and QH-2011-X cohorts who will receive scholarships and social assistance in the first semester of the 2012-2013 school year. Any questions or concerns should be submitted directly to the School (via the Political and Student Affairs Department) before October 25, 2012, for timely consideration and adjustment.

On October 11, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – the Rector of the University – signed decisions regarding the dissolution of several centers.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is holding an auction for a batch of liquidated equipment.

The school will return the original records to students of the QH-2008-X (K53) cohort immediately after their graduation.

Based on the academic and training results of the first semester of the 2010-2011 school year, the School anticipates the list of standard program students from the following cohorts: QH-2007-X, QH-2008-X, QH-2009-X, QH-2010-X who will receive scholarships and social assistance in the second semester of the 2010-2011 school year.

After three days of work, on the afternoon of October 3, 2012, the external evaluation team of the University held a concluding meeting with the Board of Directors and leaders of the units of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Ha - Head of the external evaluation team.

On September 28, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – Rector of the University – signed a decision appointing Mr. Pham Huy Cuong (specialist in the Political and Student Affairs Department) as Deputy Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department, for a term coinciding with the Rector's term.

On September 24th, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities welcomed the external evaluation team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, led by Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Ha, to conduct a preliminary survey at the University.

In accordance with the 2011-2012 academic year plan, the School organized the Graduation Ceremony and awarded Bachelor of Science degrees to the QH-2008-X cohort on August 1, 2012.
