"Francophone Week 2011" is an annual program organized by students of the Francophone Faculty of Psychology (University of Social Sciences and Humanities), for students in French-speaking majors in particular and the student community in general.

On September 7th, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector of the University - met and worked with representatives from the Institute of Buddhist Studies (China), led by Vice President Wang Ning.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the 2011 undergraduate enrollment plan for the Tourism Studies major (joint training program with the University of Foreign Languages ​​- Vietnam National University, Hanoi).

On the morning of September 5, 2011, the Center for Research and Development of Ethnic Minorities - Mountainous Areas and the Red River Basin (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) donated school bags and textbooks worth a total of 175 million VND to students of Son Hai Primary School - Luc Ngan - Bac Giang at the opening ceremony of the new school year.

On August 23, 2011, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch No. 885/CĐ-BGDĐT with some additional regulations on the second round of university admissions.

The conference summarizing the trade union's work for the 2010-2011 academic year was held on August 25th. The conference aimed to evaluate and summarize the trade union's work for the 2010-2011 academic year, set directions for the 2011-2012 academic year, and discuss and approve the draft regulations on workplace culture (third version).

On August 25th, a workshop on the state-level independent research project "The Impact of Urbanization on Rural Development in the Period 2011-2020: Theoretical Issues and Methodological Approaches" was held. This project is chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Ba Thinh (Director of the Center for Population and Social Work Research - University of Social Sciences and Humanities).

On August 23rd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held an informal meeting with students of the 2+2 joint training program, cohort QH-2009-X, who are preparing to study at Guangxi University (China).
