On the afternoon of November 3, 2023, the closing ceremony of the international scientific conference: “Vietnam-Japan Relations: Past - Present - Future” took place at the Nguy Nhu Kon Tum Auditorium of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The conference was co-organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) and the Vietnam-Japan University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, as part of a series of events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.

On November 3, 2023, the Institute of Policy and Management under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a milestone in its development and significant contributions to policy and management research in Vietnam.

On November 3, 2023, at the Nguy Nhu Kon Tum Auditorium of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH), in collaboration with the Vietnam-Japan University under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized an international scientific conference entitled “Vietnam-Japan Relations: Past - Present - Future”. This event was part of a series of practical activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.

The on-site evaluation by the AUN-QA Accreditation Team was conducted from October 31st to November 2nd, 2023, for four training programs. These included three undergraduate programs from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH): Sociology, Psychology, and International Studies, and one undergraduate program in Nuclear Engineering Technology from the University of Science. The closing ceremony took place on November 2nd in the auditorium on the 8th floor of Building E at VNU-USSH.

On October 28, 2023, the preliminary round of the 2023 Vietnamese Public Speaking Contest for Overseas Students in the Northern region concluded successfully! The Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 12 consolation prizes to the participating teams.

This morning, October 31, 2023, the Opening Ceremony of the 358th AUN-QA Program Assessment was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On October 29-30, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held its 2023 Training Conference with the participation of the Board of Directors, leaders of faculties/institutes/centers and functional departments.

On October 28, 2023, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, together with the Faculty of Linguistics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU - USSH), organized an exhibition with the theme "55 Years of Spreading the Vietnamese Language and Culture to the World".

This morning, October 28, 2023, the 2023 Vietnamese Public Speaking Contest for International Students in Vietnam - Northern Region Preliminary Round was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On October 27, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU - USSH) held a meeting with leaders of the Honghe Academy in China to further strengthen cooperation between the two sides and jointly organize the 5th Forum of Presidents of Universities in the Red River Basin in China.

This is the result of the Times Higher Education World University Ranking by Subjects 2024 (THE WUR by Subjects 2024), published today, October 26, 2023.

Following the success of the 2022 Investment Promotion Conference, and in order to attract resources for the development of the VNU urban area in Hoa Lac to meet the learning and research requirements as directed by the Prime Minister, VNU will organize the 2023 Investment Promotion Conference in Hoa Lac on November 4-5 with many attractive activities.

On October 28th, the Opening Ceremony and the Northern Regional Preliminary Round of the 2023 Vietnamese Public Speaking Contest for International Students Studying in Vietnam, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, will take place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On November 3rd, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) will collaborate with the Vietnam-Japan University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to organize an international scientific conference entitled "Vietnam-Japan Relations: Past - Present - Future".

This morning, October 24, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), in collaboration with the KF-Samsung Scholarship Foundation (Korea), held a scholarship awarding ceremony for outstanding students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
