On December 9, 2024, VNU held a conference to study, research, and disseminate some major orientations of the Party and the direction of General Secretary To Lam.

On December 6, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement with the Foundation for Vietnamese Stature (VSF) with the goal of joining hands for a generation of healthy, intelligent, brave and humane Vietnamese youth. At the event, the Foundation for Vietnamese Stature awarded 10 scholarships to 10 students with difficult circumstances but who have strived to excel in their studies and training.

“The role and mission of the National University in the era of national development” is the theme of the 2024 Annual Conference jointly organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City on December 7, 2024.

The High School Olympiad organized by Hanoi National University has ended with impressive achievements of the team of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities, under VNU-USSH. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school's team had 110 students participating in the Literature, History, Geography and English teams, of which 49 students won prizes (1 First prize, 8 Second prizes, 18 Third prizes, 22 Encouragement prizes).

The training course on Teaching Vietnamese for Overseas Vietnamese Teachers is an annual activity organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) to promote the preservation of Vietnamese language and culture around the world.

This morning, November 29, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in collaboration with the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Lao Cai Provincial Political School organized the National Scientific Conference "Promoting social and humanistic values and resources to serve the development of Lao Cai province to become a growth pole and a regional connectivity center by 2030, with a vision to 2050".

On November 28, 2024, the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a meeting with the delegation of the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences led by Prof. Duong Chinh Quyen (Director).

On November 27, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), a workshop was held to announce the National Report on “Policy Implementation in Vietnam”. This is the 7th publication published within the framework of the cooperation project between Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam, Justus-Liebig University Gießen (Germany) and VNU-USSH.

The scholarship is awarded annually to support students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in their studies, scientific research and international exchange.

On November 22, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) coordinated with Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), West Hanoi Branch to organize the SHB Scholarship Award Ceremony for Semester II, academic year 2023-2024. After the success of the first round, SHB Bank continued to award 17 scholarships to 17 outstanding students from 17 training units in the University.

Bright smiles, proud eyes, and best wishes were sent to generations of teachers and staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, at the Rally to Welcome the Vietnamese Teachers' Day Charter, contributing to further cultivating the tradition of "respecting teachers and valuing education" throughout the past 80 years of history.

On the morning of November 17, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi solemnly held a meeting to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, with the participation of many generations of teachers, staff, students, and alumni of the school.
