More than 100 years ago, the socialist revolution under the leadership of the Russian Bolshevik Communist Party, headed by Lenin, triumphed in Russia, simultaneously ushering in a new era in human history. After 100 years, the noble ideals and immense values of the October Revolution – peace, national independence, democracy, and socialism – continue to shine brightly, inspiring and igniting the revolutionary spirit of progressive people worldwide, including the people of Vietnam. VI Lenin is considered a great thinker, an outstanding politician, and a teacher of the working class and working people of the world.

Speaking at the wreath-laying ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Head of the Philosophy Department) recalled President Ho Chi Minh's words about Lenin: "Lenin was the one who implemented and developed Marxism-Engelsism, the father of the proletarian revolution and the national liberation revolution, the teacher who trained revolutionary fighters all over the world, not only with the most scientific revolutionary theory, but also with the noblest revolutionary ethics."

Following that, the Faculty visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site. The delegation met and conversed with the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site at the Presidential Palace. According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, the visit to the memorial site further motivated and inspired the faculty members to continue their teaching and scientific research tasks, especially in applying Marxist-Leninist philosophy and Ho Chi Minh's thought to the practical construction and development of the country.

Mr. Nguyen Van Cong (Director of the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site) expressed his gratitude for the affection shown by the lecturers and students of the Philosophy Department. He presented the lecturers in the delegation with special badges modeled after the badges that President Ho Chi Minh once awarded to cadres and soldiers who achieved high results in production, combat, labor, and study during the resistance war against the US.
