Accordingly, in October, the School has implemented many activities in 4 key areas of Party work, organization, and union work; training work, student work, quality assurance, inspection and law; scientific research, cooperation and development work; administrative work, facilities, finance, and IT. Some typical activities include: Continuing to review and adjust management documents, regulations, and rules; completing the personnel consolidation process and issuing a Decision to appoint Deputy Heads of Departments: TCCB, CT&CTHSSV, HC-TH; organizing the second round of postgraduate entrance exams in 2021; enrolling students in the VLVH system in the second round of 2021; implementing the training plan for semester I, school year 2021-2022 for full-time students of the QH-2021-X course; implementing health insurance and personal insurance for students; Organize peer review of Linguistics (October 28-29, 2021); deploy the development of the Translation project; hold online cooperation meetings with Taiwanese partners; support procedures for receiving foreign guest lecturers and students under the 2021 government agreement; continue to review and contact for vaccination for school staff and officials; coordinate with the Center for Training and Information Technology to continue providing instructions on the use of VNU-Office software; review and supplement equipment for the new school year...

After the report, the Conference listened to the opinions of the Vice Principals, along with representatives of the Faculties, Departments, and units under and directly under the University. All opinions agreed with the draft report prepared by the Administration and General Department and proposed specific opinions to further improve the effectiveness of work in November.

Concluding the Conference, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the efforts of the units in carrying out the tasks of October, and at the same time hoped that the units would continue to strive to complete the targets and tasks in November. Regarding scientific research: Complete the adjustment of regulations for Basic Topics and policies to support international publication activities, emphasizing the trend of "individualization" of international publications; continue to implement the Translation Project; establish the Research Ethics Council at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

Regarding quality assurance: Continue to implement quality control activities in a practical direction, mobilizing the strong participation of heads and leaders of training units.
Regarding Covid-19 epidemic prevention: Continue to strengthen Covid-19 epidemic prevention, vaccinate 2 doses and in the near future, vaccinate 3 doses for staff, students and pupils of the School.
Regarding facilities: Renovate items according to the roadmap, including renovating lecture halls, information technology systems, and equipment serving the school's operations in a cost-effective manner, utilizing social resources, and seeking investment from VNU.
Regarding financial work: Implement guidance on building technical economic norms according to Decree 81/ND-CP of the Government on tuition fees; adjust internal spending regulations within the School; coordinate with quality assurance work to reinvest increased revenues into activities to develop the School's human resources.
