The education sector has 20 representatives elected to the 15th National Assembly.

Minister of Education and Training, Director of Hanoi National University Nguyen Kim Son
In his Action Program, Minister Nguyen Kim Son emphasized that genuine learning, or practical learning, in terms of content, is an education that teaches people knowledge, skills, qualities, and ethics, creating real capabilities—that is, what learners can use for their work, for their livelihood, for life, and for the country. Genuine learning means avoiding learning things that are useless in real life, while neglecting what is necessary for practical work.
"Practical learning" here means a practical, useful, and substantial education and training that meets the needs of society and is closely linked to life. True learning means that titles, academic ranks, and degrees are appropriate and accurately reflect the learner's abilities. In reality, many people and places study superficially, just for the sake of appearances, or to obtain a degree without gaining any additional knowledge or skills. Some people have many degrees but are unable to perform their jobs; their titles are merely empty honors...
To achieve truly effective education, the education sector itself must act, undergoing significant changes and transformations in its thinking, teaching methods, and ingrained habits shaped by societal views. The sector also needs good school infrastructure, laboratories, and adequate, modern teaching and learning materials to produce the best possible quality of education. It requires a team of excellent, competent teachers with decent salaries and job security. These two things constitute the REAL STRENGTH of the education sector. Only by creating this REAL STRENGTH can quality be improved and genuine learning be prioritized.
