The Prime Minister appointed Mr. Le Quan to hold the position of Director of VNU.

The new Director of Hanoi National University, Le Quan, was born in 1974 in Hanoi, his hometown is Quang Ngai, and he is a member of the 14th National Assembly. Recently, the new Director of Hanoi National University, Le Quan, was elected as a member of the 15th National Assembly in Ca Mau province with high confidence.

Mr. Le Quan has a high level of political theory, a PhD in management science from Toulon University (France), is an expert in human resource development and entrepreneurship, was appointed associate professor in 2009, professor in 2017.

The Prime Minister appointed Professor Le Quan to the position of Director of Hanoi National University.

Mr. Le Quan has held leadership and management positions such as: Head of the Department of Human Resources Management (University of Commerce), Member of the Board of Directors of the Francophone Entrepreneurship Institute, Member of the Executive Board of the network of scientists researching entrepreneurship (Francophone University Organization), in charge of international training projects at the University of Commerce, and in charge of Filière Francophone in business administration; Director of the Center for International Training and Education (University of Economics, VNU); Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of VNU; Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of VNU, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of VNU; Deputy Director of VNU; Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

Mr. Le Quan is known as the founder of the Human Resource Management Club and Forum, founder of the Entrepreneur Café event series, Vietnam Human Resources Day and university management innovation activities at VNU.

As Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Mr. Le Quan made his mark by promoting the application of information technology and administrative reform. The areas under his charge such as social insurance have seen many innovations, and the restructuring of vocational education has seen many breakthrough results. In addition, Mr. Le Quan also made many contributions in proposing and developing a social security support package for those affected by the Covid 19 pandemic.

During his time working in Ca Mau as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, Mr. Le Quan made many breakthroughs and innovations in directing and operating the economic and social development of this province, contributing to promoting investment attraction, focusing on planning, developing the marine economy, reproducing and increasing the agricultural value chain; high growth in aquaculture and agriculture, aquaculture and exports have both increased in recent times, ...
