Attending the opening ceremony, on the side of guests, partners and sponsors were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung (General Director of Homecare Real Estate Management Services Company); Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hung (representative of Iking Sport LLC); and representatives of LeBros Media Company, Viet Y Investment and Production Trading LLC...

On the side of the Faculty, there were the participation of Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication); MSc. Vu Tra My (Deputy Head of the Faculty); Dr. Nguyen Son Minh (Chairman of the Faculty's Trade Union); MSc. Nguyen Dinh Hau (Secretary of the Youth Union) and many teachers and students in the Faculty.

Dr. Nguyen Son Minh, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, delivered the opening speech of the tournament.

With the aim of promoting a healthy sports movement, as well as connecting student courses in the Faculty, and at the same time creating a playground to practice professional skills in journalism and communication, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication's Youth Union has periodically organized a four-team football tournament.

In 2018, marking a turning point, the Four Heroes Cup Open 2018 turned 8 years old, with nearly a decade of formation and development, marking itself as one of the tournaments with a long history, becoming the pride and brand of the Faculty of Journalism and Information Technology.

In addition, this year's Four Heroes Cup Open 2018 also made its mark by raising the level of the tournament and expanding the number of participating teams. Instead of 4 teams from the faculty's student courses, this year, the tournament invited 4 more teams from external media units such as: VietnamPlus electronic newspaper team; Vnbongda.vn team; Kenhthethao.vn team and the media department of Homecare real estate management and business services company.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Son Minh emphasized, “The participation of football teams from outside media units has contributed to raising the level of the tournament. This is not only a playground, but also an opportunity to exchange and connect with future employers.”

Representatives of sponsors and teachers in the faculty took souvenir photos with each football team.

After the opening ceremony, the fans continued to the qualifying matches in the round-robin format. As planned, the matches will be held continuously on Sundays, from March 25 to April 22, 2018.

After the opening ceremony are two group stage matches, between K60BC&TT team and Kenhthethao.vn team and K60 BC&TT team and Homecare Company team.

Along with the matches, every Friday, the Organizing Committee of the Four Heroes Open 2018 also invites journalists and reporters to exchange, share, and guide professional skills in the fields of writing, photography, and video making.
