Exchange of experiences in KĐCL assessment between universities

On March 22, 2018, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Principal of the University) received and worked with the University Quality Assessment Team. The team included representatives from the following universities: Queensland University (Australia), University of Agriculture and Forestry (Thai Nguyen), and Tay Bac University (Son La).

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Department of Cooperation and Development and the Center for Training Quality Assurance. The meeting's content was to exchange and learn about experiences in implementing quality assessment and accreditation activities at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa shared a lot of information and the results that the School has achieved in the work of accreditation and quality assurance during the time. The School is one of the first universities to participate in quality accreditation according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training. The School is the leading unit in accreditation and quality assurance with 91% of the criteria meeting the standards of the Ministry. The School has 03 undergraduate training programs accredited according to AUN-QA standards: Linguistics, Oriental Studies and Philosophy. It is expected that by 2020, the School will complete the entire accreditation plan for undergraduate training programs. Of which, 1/3 of the programs will be assessed according to AUN-QA standards. Accreditation has become a regular activity to improve the quality of training programs towards regional and international standards; thereby contributing to the formation of a quality culture in the activities of the School. Vice Principal Tran Thi Minh Hoa also expressed her desire to establish cooperative relationships with domestic and foreign universities in the field of quality assurance and accreditation.
