Receive and work with Vice President of Guangdong International Education Exchange Association (China)

On March 20, 2018, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and representatives of the Department of Cooperation and Development received and worked with Prof. Liang Yong Hong (Vice President of the Guangdong International Education Exchange Association) to discuss cooperation prospects between the two sides.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh highly appreciated the cooperation between the University and the Guangdong International Education Exchange Association in organizing the student exchange program “One Belt – One Road”. Through the smooth combination of theory and practical activities in the locality, this project helps the young generation of the two countries understand each other better, while promoting bilateral development between Vietnam and China.

On behalf of the host country, Prof. Liang Yong Hong expressed his thanks for the warm welcome of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. At the same time, he expressed his wish to strengthen cultural exchange programs and exchange of lecturers and students.(especially students from Guangdong province, China), trainees between the two countries.

At the end of the working session, leaders of both sides agreed to soon implement more specific plans as soon as possible.

Guangdong Association for International Education Exchange (GDEAIE) was founded in 1985. The Association's purpose is to actively promote educational and scientific exchanges and cooperation, and develop cultural careers, and enhance mutual understanding and friendship between peoples of different countries and regions. Currently, the Association has 127 affiliated universities.
