We continue to offer free conversational English classes for students.

Free English communication courses are organized under a cooperation agreement between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) and the Center for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) since the beginning of 2018. To date, with the coordination of CASA and the University's Student Union, the program has entered its second year with the achievement of 7 courses, 28 classes, attracting the participation of 16 foreign volunteers and more than 600 USSH students who registered to study and provide support.

The first course of 2019 took place from February 18th to April 25th, 2019. Students were welcomed by two volunteers from France and Denmark. The course was organized into four classes (two basic and two advanced), each class meeting twice a week in study room 103, Building E. In these classes, students had the opportunity to practice their English communication skills in a 100% English-speaking environment with foreign volunteers and student volunteers from the university.

English is the most widely used language in the world. Effective English communication is a crucial skill for students to study and research better, and to achieve greater success after graduation in today's globalized world. However, opportunities to practice English communication in general, especially with people from English-speaking countries, are not easily available to most students. Therefore, free English communication classes are a practical support activity for students, attracting a large number of participants from their inception to the present day.

Besides the opportunity to improve their English communication skills, USSH students also have the chance to develop their soft skills (teamwork, communication skills, public speaking skills, etc.). The organizing units also hope that participating students will gain valuable experience and knowledge during their studies. Through this, students can cultivate qualities such as confidence, dynamism, and integration.
