Receive and work with the delegation of Senshu University (Japan)

Senshu University is a private university, founded in 1880 in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Senshu offers many majors such as Law, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Japanese, Japanese Literature and Culture, English and American Literature, Philosophy, History, Environment, Journalism. Senshu University has had a cooperative relationship with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities since 1997. Over the past two decades, the two schools have coordinated many practical and meaningful activities; especially in the exchange of students, staff, and lecturers.

On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh highly appreciated the long-term cooperation of Senshu University over the past 20 years. The President hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will further promote bilateral relations, especially research cooperation between young staff. At the same time, he hopes that the cooperation between the two sides will create its own characteristics compared to other partners from Japan. With the strength of the Department of Japanese Studies, a leading address for training and research on Japan in Vietnam, the University fully meets the needs and cooperation proposals from you.

In response, Prof. Yoshiyuki Habuta expressed his gratitude for the goodwill of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He said that the delegation of experts from Senshu University visited the University this time to expand research on the Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange in the context of the East Asian continent. Senshu University hopes to continue the relationship with the Department of Japanese Studies, as well as establish a relationship with the Department of Cultural Studies and Vietnamese Cultural History under the Faculty of History of the University. The Office of Cooperation and Development will be the contact point between the two sides.

After the working session, the delegation from Senshu University visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Faculty of History of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to discuss more specific cooperation plans.
