The Party Committee of the University congratulates the Student Union on the 68th anniversary of its founding.

Also attending the meeting were Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Chairperson of the University's Trade Union), Dr. Pham Huy Cuong (Deputy Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department), Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan (Chief of the Party Committee Office), and Dr. Tran Bach Hieu (Secretary of the University's Youth Union).

Professor Nguyen Van Kim highly appreciated the achievements of the University's Student Union: The Student Union has continuously matured and grown stronger. The Student Union has developed many effective and distinctive programs to guide and support generations of students in their studies and training in various fields, worthy of their role as young intellectuals – the future owners of the country. Professor Nguyen Van Kim also suggested that in the coming time, the Youth Union and Student Union of the university should further promote scientific research among students and student support activities to better demonstrate the position and role of a student union organization in a leading university in Vietnam.

On this occasion, the representative of the Executive Committee of the University's Youth Union, the Secretary of the University's Youth Union - Dr. Tran Bach Hieu, also extended congratulations on the achievements of the University's Student Union in recent years and expressed the hope that the Student Union will always be a pioneering force in implementing revolutionary action movements of the Youth Union and Student Union; contributing to building the model of students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular and the image of the young generation of Vietnam in the new era.

On behalf of the University's Student Union, Mr. Tran Duc Hoa (President of the University's Student Union) expressed his deep gratitude for the attention given by the Party Committee and the Board of Directors to the activities of the Student Union in the past. In the coming time, the Student Union will strive even harder to inherit and promote the glorious traditions of the University's youth, contributing its strength to the overall development policies and strategies of the University in line with the orientation of a research university, and gradually integrating internationally.

For many years, the Student Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been a leading and pioneering unit with a certain reputation in the overall movement of the Vietnam National University Student Union and the Vietnam Student Union. The Union also contributes to nurturing knowledge, inspiring creative aspirations, and fostering a life of dedication and commitment with beautiful ideals for the young generation of the University.
