The delegates attending the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association for the third term, 2017-2022, consisting of 15 members. Professor Dr. Dinh Van Duc - Chairman of the Association of Retired Faculty of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in the second term - was re-elected by the Congress to continue serving as Chairman of the Association for the third term.
At the Congress, the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Nguyen Kim Son, presented certificates of merit to collectives and individuals of the Association who had achieved outstanding results during the 2012-2017 term. Accordingly, the Association of Retired Teachers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Professor Vu Duong Ninh (Chairman of the Association of Retired Teachers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) were honored with certificates of merit for their outstanding achievements in the Association's work and their contributions to the overall development of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Retired Teachers also awarded certificates of merit to the Association of Retired Teachers of Hanoi National University and to Professor, Doctor, People's Teacher Dinh Van Duc - Chairman of the Association.


The Association of Retired Faculty Members of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has 225 members and is one of the strongest branches of the Association of Retired Faculty Members of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Association brings together former teachers, scientists, and staff members who have worked at the University and organizes many professional activities and exchanges among its members. In 2017, the Association organized one seminar and two field trips to historical sites for its retired faculty members. The Association's activities not only help maintain the bond between members and create an environment for professional and academic exchange, but also provide opportunities for former faculty members to contribute to the University's development, spreading and promoting the University's positive values and traditions to future generations.
