"Humanities are the most brilliant years of my life"

Dear delegates,

Dear teachers,

Dear parents and students!

First of all, please allow me to send my best wishes and greetings to all delegates, teachers, parents and new graduates!

My name is Tran Tung Ngoc, a student of K59 Oriental Studies. Today, I am very happy and honored to represent 668 new graduates to speak at this solemn Graduation Ceremony.

Dear teachers and students!

Time flies so fast, and the journey of being a student has ended. Over the past 4 years, my youth, as well as all of my friends', has been associated with this school. All the joys, sorrows, and the most beautiful memories of K59, every time we recall them, are associated with the image of the school. K59 is happy and proud to be the first class to use a newly designed student card, to be given a lanyard, to be given a school badge in the first days of being a student, to be the first class to go on vacation together at Hola Resort, to be the class to witness a series of events celebrating the 70th anniversary of the school's tradition.

For us, Humanities are the most brilliant years of our lives. There, we witnessed the stress that “only students understand” every exam season, the years of diligently searching for documents, making friends with the library, the time to participate and devote our youth to the activities of the Youth Union and Association, the love between teachers and students, friendship, and affection that remains on every patch of sunlight in the school yard.

This school has given us many opportunities to access vast knowledge, so that each student can freely fly and collect the most necessary things as provisions for their future career path.

Today, holding our bachelor's degrees in our hands, we will officially enter the giant circle of society with many difficulties and challenges awaiting us. And after we leave this hall, we will officially become alumni. However, Humanities will always leave in our hearts the most sacred emotions. And we believe that in the future, when we return to visit the School, we will be successful people, a source of pride for the tradition of building and developing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On this solemn occasion, on behalf of the new graduates, I would like to express my most sincere thanks to the teachers who have always cared for and created favorable conditions for us to study, practice and conduct scientific research in the best way possible.

We would also like to express our deep gratitude to our families, parents, and relatives who have always been there for us, supporting us both materially and spiritually to help us fulfill our dream of being here today. We would like to thank all our brothers, sisters, and friends who have spent the most beautiful youth with us under this school roof.

We, the students of Class K59, have completed our mission here. Our love, ambitions and unfulfilled plans at this school will continue to be passed on to the next generations of students. We wish the students of the next class will continue to walk firmly on the path of learning and training, achieving more achievements, to further enhance the tradition of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Before stopping, I would like to wish all delegates and teachers good health. I wish our school will develop more and more strongly, worthy of being the leading research and training center in social sciences and humanities of the country. We promise that wherever we go, whatever we do, we will always carry the image of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with us, and will keep the youth of USSH in our hearts forever.

I wish you new graduates will reap much success in your career path.

Goodbye USSH, the youth of glorious years!

See you again!

Thank you very much.
