Attending the Commendation Ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Principal of the School; Heads of units; Secretary of the School Youth Union and 196 outstanding young faces at the grassroots level in 2024, including 09 staff, 160 students, 26 students of the Specialized High School and 01 graduate student.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vice President Dang Thi Thu Huong warmly congratulated 196 cadres, lecturers, students, and pupils who were voted and nominated by units to become Outstanding Young Faces of the whole school in 2024. The outstanding achievements in studying, teaching, scientific research, administrative work and community service of teachers and students have made important contributions to affirming the position and brand of the School on the map of higher education of the whole country, while bringing practical values to the community and society.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Principal warmly congratulated the honored staff, lecturers, students and trainees.
The typical young cadres are nominated, selected and introduced from the units based on very strict and meticulous standards. They are cadres and lecturers under the age of 35, with good political qualities, good ethics, healthy lifestyles, excellent completion of tasks, and at the same time have outstanding products and results such as initiatives to innovate management and administration; innovative products in teaching methods, high application efficiency, contributing to the development and improvement of teaching quality or having outstanding international publications typical of the unit or having excellent results in performing scientific research tasks. At the same time, they must actively participate in social and community activities in leadership roles or key positions, activities that create great social effects.
For students, students and trainees must have excellent academic and training results, effectively participate in social and community activities, win high prizes in regional and international Olympic competitions and win first prizes in excellent student competitions, national Olympic competitions, technical competitions, sports, and startups at the ministerial and industry levels.
Student Doan Mai Duong (Faculty of Tourism Studies) representing the 2024 VNU-USSH Outstanding Young Faces spoke, expressing her pride, honor, and determination to study hard and contribute to be worthy of the recognition and care of the School and teachers.
Among the 196 cadres, students and pupils honored today, there is an honorable officer, Dr. Le Thi Tuan (lecturer of the Faculty of Literature) and To Hoang Vi Anh (11th grade student of Literature 1, High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities) who were honored as Outstanding Young Faces at the Hanoi National University level with their outstanding achievements.
Once again, congratulations and honor to the staff, lecturers, students, and pupils who have received the title of Outstanding Young Faces of VNU-USSH in 2024. We wish the teachers, students, and pupils good health and continued success to contribute to the common achievements of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
