- Để giải quyết các vấn đề được đặt ra, luận văn lần lượt làm sáng tỏ các thuật ngữ và các cơ sở lí luận có liên quan đến du lịch văn hoá; nghiên cứu các kinh nghiệm làm du lịch văn hoá trong nước và một số nước trên thế giới; tham khảo các công trình nghiên cứu về du lịch văn hoá của các tác giả đi trước, các đề tài nghiên cứu về du lịch trong tỉnh An Giang, xem đó là những nền tảng, những ý kiến và kinh nghiệm quan trọng trong việc phát triển du lịch văn hoá tỉnh An Giang.
- Nhằm khẳng định tiềm năng du lịch văn hoá, luận văn đã đi sâu vào giới thiệu về điều kiện tự nhiên, điều kiện xã hội và tài nguyên du lịch văn hoá ở An Giang. Song, để có cái nhìn tổng thể về bức tranh hoạt động du lịch văn hoá tỉnh An Giang, luận văn đã tiến hành phân tích, đánh giá những thuận lợi, khó khăn trong hoạt động và quản lí du lịch văn hoá của tỉnh, thông qua việc sử dụng các phương pháp thông kê, thu thập và xử lí tài liệu, số liệu và khảo sát thực địa từ các cơ quan nhà nước, các cơ sở kinh doanh du lịch, khách du lịch, chính quyền và cư dân địa phương. Từ đó cho ra các kết quả về: số lượng khách du lịch đến An Giang, xu hướng và đặc điểm của du khách, chất lượng sản phẩm, nhu cầu của thị trường, cơ cấu quản lí nhà nước, số lượng các cơ sở kinh doanh du lịch và chất lượng nguồn nhân lực….
- Căn cứ vào kết quả khảo sát thực tiển, điều kiện và định hướng phát triển du lịch của tỉnh kết hợp với các cơ sở lí luận, luận văn đã đề xuất 07 giải pháp phù hợp nhằm góp phần phát triển du lịch văn hoá ở An Giang như sau: Giải pháp về phát triển cơ sở vật chất phục vụ du lịch văn hoá (1); Giải pháp về phát triển nhân lực trong du lịch văn hoá (2); Giải pháp về phát triển sản phẩm du lịch văn hoá đặc thù (3); Giải pháp về thị trường và khách du lịch văn hoá (4); Giải pháp về tổ chức, quản lí hoạt động du lịch văn hoá (5); Giải pháp về xúc tiến, quảng bá sản phẩm du lịch văn hoá (6); Giải pháp về bảo tồn di sản văn hoá và tài nguyên du lịch văn hoá(7).
11. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn: Kết quả nghiên cứu của luận văn sẽ làm tư liệu cho các đề tài nghiên cứu du lịch văn hoá khác, đồng thời góp phần nâng cao hiệu quả khai thác du lịch văn hoá của tỉnh An Giang.
