The author compiles statistics on the number and status of uprisings and initially explains the causes leading to the uprisings, through some observations and analysis of the political-social-economic developments under the rule of the dynasty.

The uprisings are classified according to time, space, initiators and forces participating in the uprising. From there, the author points out the characteristics of the uprisings of each force, in each region (mountainous, plain, coastal and bordering vassal areas), and from there examines the causes leading to the above-mentioned strong opposition to the court.

The thesis does not go into the development of the uprisings but focuses on the state's policies and their practical impact on the living conditions and consciousness of some social classes.

11. Practical application:

The 19th century Nguyen Dynasty is one of the dynasties that domestic and foreign historians have focused on studying because of the connection between ancient and medieval history and modern history, and the relations between Vietnam and countries in the region and Western countries. In the trend of positive economic and cultural integration in the world, studying the instability of a dynasty with strong influence in the region will help supplement the perspective on the dynasty, while providing initial data for a more comprehensive review of a number of issues such as Vietnam's foreign policy, religion, etc. during this period, creating a more comprehensive view of past events.

12. Further research directions:

If it is possible to study at a higher level, the author intends to conduct in-depth studies on the Minh Mang dynasty from several other perspectives, from the institution, from an individual whose governing model contrasts with Minh Mang's, and from social impulses outside the Dai Nam territory.

- The model of absolute monarchy under the Minh Mang dynasty (1820-1840)

- Le Van Duyet: From Dang Trong to Phien An citadel (XVIII - XIX)

- Rebellions in vassal states and pirates under the Minh Mang dynasty (1820-1840)
