The author compiles statistics on the number and nature of the rebellions and offers an initial explanation of their causes, through some observations and analyses of the political, social, and economic developments under the dynasty's rule.

The rebellions are classified according to time, location, initiators, and participating forces. From this, the author identifies the characteristics of the rebellions by each force, in each region (mountainous areas, plains, coastal areas, and areas bordering the vassal states), and then examines the causes leading to the strong opposition to the imperial court mentioned above.

The thesis does not delve into the details of the uprisings but focuses on state policies and their practical impact on the living conditions and mindsets of certain social classes.

11. Practical applications:

The Nguyen Dynasty of the 19th century is one of the dynasties that historians both domestically and internationally have focused on studying due to its connection between ancient and medieval history and modern and contemporary history, as well as the relations between Vietnam and countries in the region and Western nations. In the context of positive economic and cultural integration with the world, studying the instability of a dynasty with strong regional influence will help supplement perspectives on the dynasty, while also providing initial data for a more comprehensive examination of issues such as Vietnam's foreign policy and religion during this period, creating a more complete understanding of past events.

12. Future research directions:

If given the opportunity to study at a higher academic level, the author intends to conduct in-depth research on the Minh Mạng dynasty from several different perspectives, including institutional perspectives, perspectives of an individual whose governing model contrasted with Minh Mạng's, and social dynamics outside the territory of Đại Nam.

- The model of absolute monarchy under the reign of Minh Mạng (1820-1840)

- Le Van Duyet: From Dang Trong to Phan An Citadel (18th - 19th centuries)

- Rebellions in the vassal states and piracy during the reign of Minh Mạng (1820-1840)
