Summary of the results of the thesis: Researching the characteristics of the lyrical ego in contemporary young poetry (through Vi Thuy Linh, Phan Huyen Thu, Van Cam Hai), the thesis has achieved the following results: - The lyrical ego is an artistic category, not only including personal privacy but also many other levels such as social, cultural, and aesthetic aspects; it has the ability to generalize the spiritual values not only of the individual but also of the whole era. Researching the lyrical ego in young poetry today (through some typical poets) will help us identify the typical type of poet, generalize the characteristics of the lyrical ego in young poetry and initially determine the poetic style of some typical young writers. In the search for the faces of young poetry today, Vi Thuy Linh, Phan Huyen Thu and Van Cam Hai appeared and were evaluated as young literary phenomena, affirming the true talent and dedication of the individual, speaking up for their generation. Researching through the above 3 authors helps us have a general view of contemporary young poetry in terms of innovation of the lyrical self (in terms of content and artistic form); as well as initially generalizing the artistic style of the poets. - Some characteristics of the lyrical self of today's young poetry: In terms of content: the prominent characteristics are the affirmation of the personal self and the tendency of the introspective and sociable self. In terms of art: the diverse expression of the characteristics of the lyrical self has led to diversity and innovation in the form of expression of today's young poetry (typically in terms of genre, image, structure, tone, language). - The diversity and complexity of the lyrical self of contemporary young poetry is a manifestation of the modern spirit, contributing to the formation of young poetic styles: Phan Huyen Thu is profound, calm, and economical with words; Van Cam Hai is rich in strange poetic images, multi-line thinking, and a hidden, painful tone; Vi Thuy Linh is rich in inner strength, rushing like boiling water, sometimes impulsive, noisy...
