Summary of thesis results: The research and investigation process has clarified the role of Program 135 in poverty reduction in Nguyet An commune, thereby proposing some recommendations related to the implementation of Program 135. Specifically: Describing the current situation and causes of poverty in Nguyet An commune. Investigating the activities of Program 135-II implemented in the commune, including production support projects, infrastructure support projects, and projects to improve the quality of life for people (vocational training, education, health, environmental sanitation, legal services). Analyzing the impact of the implementation of Program 135-II on the lives of poor people shows that the activities of Program 135-II in Nguyet An commune have brought great results in poverty reduction in the commune, and have created many opportunities for the poor to escape poverty. The poverty rate has decreased over the years, and household income has increased significantly through support from the program. This has led to a positive shift in the economic structure, reducing the proportion of the agricultural sector and increasing the proportion of the industrial, construction, service, and trade sectors. With the aim of improving the quality of Program 135 in poverty reduction, several recommendations are proposed across four aspects: policy, local government, social organizations, and the people. 11.
