Summary of the results of the thesis: Through the research process, the topic has obtained the following results: - The research clarifies the concept, function of elections and criteria to ensure competitiveness in elections in general. - Research the current status of competitiveness in the National Assembly election activities in Vietnam today. Based on the criteria indicated, the topic clearly shows the manifestations and levels of ensuring competitiveness in the stages of the election process from consultation, candidate introduction to election campaign, division of constituencies and activities of organizations in charge of elections. - On the basis of studying that current situation, the topic has made a reference to point out the existing problems in ensuring competitiveness in the organization and process of National Assembly elections in Vietnam.
