Summary of thesis results: Through the research process, the thesis has obtained the following results: - Research clarifying the concept and function of elections and the criteria to ensure competitiveness in elections in general. - Researching the current state of competitiveness in the National Assembly election activities in Vietnam. Based on the criteria identified, the thesis clearly shows the manifestations and levels of ensuring competitiveness in the stages of the election process from consultation, candidate nomination to election campaigning, division of electoral units and activities of election-related organizations. - Based on this research, the thesis has used a reference to identify existing problems in ensuring competitiveness in the organization and process of National Assembly elections in Vietnam. From there, the thesis proposes several recommendations to ensure competitiveness in the current National Assembly elections in Vietnam. Summary of the findings of the thesis: Over the period of research, the study has obtained the following results: - Study on clarification of the concept and functions of constituencies, and the criteria to ensure the competition in the election. - Study the competitive situation in the congressional activities in Vietnam today.
