Summary of Thesis Results: The research process of this thesis can be summarized through the following basic contents: Theoretically: The thesis introduced and analyzed theories on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourists, such as the concept, consumption behavior of MICE tourists, and the significance of this customer segment for hotel business operations. The thesis systematized and clarified issues related to products for MICE tourists, such as the concept, characteristics, and factors influencing the creation of products for MICE tourists in hotels. It also presented a system of criteria for evaluating products for MICE tourists and methods for evaluating MICE product systems. Based on the application of this theory in the practical context of products at 5-star hotels, specifically Furama Resort and HAGL Plaza Hotel, the thesis evaluates and proposes solutions to improve this product system. In terms of empirical research: The thesis synthesized a quantity of information and data related to the product systems at the first two 5-star hotels in Da Nang City, Furama and Hoang Anh Gia Lai, combined with a survey of 300 questionnaires, of which 279 were collected from MICE guests attending 3 events/hotels to obtain objective customer assessments. Through this, accurate assessments were drawn to show the current state of the product systems for MICE guests at 5-star hotels in the city. In terms of solutions and recommendations: Based on tourism product theory, the characteristics of MICE tourists, data sources, and assessments of the current situation, as well as the orientations and trends of MICE tourism development in Da Nang and 5-star hotels, the thesis has made specific proposals for improving these products by supplementing and diversifying services, perfecting factors affecting product creation, and making some recommendations related to state management agencies on tourism at the central and local levels. 11. Practical application: The thesis has presented a system of solutions to improve the product system for MICE tourists in Da Nang based on assessments from the criteria of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and customer evaluations. Therefore, these solutions are quite relevant to the current conditions of 5-star hotels in Da Nang and can be applied.
