When studying the spiritual culture of people in rural areas, specifically Vu Doai commune of Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province, the author tried to understand their psychological aspects to better understand the spiritual and cultural life of Vu Doai people. The study once again reaffirms the correctness of Marxism-Leninism: Social existence determines social consciousness. People in Vu Doai commune in general, although living together in a relatively small space, enjoying the same economic and cultural impacts, people with different living standards will have very different cultural and spiritual behavioral patterns in some aspects, with the disadvantaged always leaning towards the poor group.
