Summary of thesis results: Based on the results obtained from the survey of the cultural and spiritual life of the people of Vu Doai commune, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province, this thesis systematically analyzes the characteristics of their lives, their enjoyment of cultural and spiritual activities, their behavior towards society, and the psychological changes they experience due to the ongoing industrialization and urbanization process. This aims to provide a more comprehensive overview of the differences in cultural and spiritual life among different population groups in the rural areas of the Northern Delta today. When studying the spiritual culture of people in rural areas, specifically Vu Doai commune of Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province, the author attempted to understand their psychological aspects to better comprehend the spiritual and cultural life of the people of Vu Doai. This research once again affirms the correctness of the Marxist-Leninist viewpoint: Social existence determines social consciousness. The people of Vu Doai commune, in general, although living together in a relatively small space and enjoying similar economic and cultural influences, have very different patterns of behavior regarding spiritual and cultural aspects in some aspects, with the poor always being at a disadvantage. The family model in Vu Doai in particular, and in rural Vietnam in general, is no longer purely agricultural as it once was. A single family may include intellectuals, workers, farmers, retirees, and young people. This, to a greater or lesser extent, has significantly changed the picture of rural life in Vu Doai in particular, and in the northern rural areas in general. Improving the material and spiritual lives of people in rural Vu Doai in particular, and in the northern rural areas in general, can be achieved by creating more jobs to increase their income, providing opportunities for education and cultural enjoyment, enhancing their spiritual well-being, and gradually implementing the new rural development program. 11.
