The thesis affirms: "Stress is a collection of physiological and psychological reactions of the body when there are excessively strong impacts of factors appearing in the process of human activities". The thesis mainly studies stress in terms of human psychological reactions to the impact of different factors in the process of activities. The thesis argues that leukemia not only causes physical damage but it can also be a huge mental shock to the patient and can cause many negative psychological reactions, of which stress is one of the common psychological reactions. Stress reactions in leukemia patients are physiological and psychological reactions of patients when affected by knowing that they have leukemia and the process of leukemia treatment at the hospital. Stress reactions in patients can also be related to a number of factors such as gender, education level, age, disease stages and treatment time. Regarding the results of practical research, the results of practical research show that: 41.7% of leukemia patients have stress at different levels, mainly at moderate levels (46.7%). Stress reactions in leukemia patients are quite complicated, not just stress but stress is also accompanied by anxiety, depression, and some patients even have stress, anxiety and depression at the same time. In particular, 9.7% of patients have suicidal thoughts, some patients often perform spiritual activities such as fortune telling, worshiping, and exorcism... during the treatment process to stabilize their psychology and pray for a longer life. Stress reactions in leukemia patients are not affected by factors such as gender, age, education level or treatment time, but some specific manifestations of stress reactions in terms of emotions and behaviors are closely related to these factors (emotions: fear, irritability, anger, etc., behaviors: smoking, drinking, spiritual activities such as worship, exorcism, etc.) 11.
